The Goulburn and Surrounds Committee covers an area of the South Tablelands between Sutton, Gunning & Windellama in the South and West, Penrose and Wingello in the North East, Marulan, Goulburn, Crookwell and Taralga in the north.

The main fund raising events are engaging with the 25 State and Child care Centres in area, by asking them to be involved in the Annual Jeans for Genes Day – the first Friday of August each year, and more recently the Taralga Fun Ferret Races held at the Taralga Sports Club each October.

In 2024, Caroline and Simon repeated the Jeans for Genes School donation program on the 2^nd of August and added, on the 3^rd of August, a Line Dancing Event at the Taralga Church Hall which was a hoot and will be repeated in 2025.

The hugely successful Taralga Fun Ferret Races will be on again on the 12^th of October at the Taralga Sports Club.
