Access to a number of fully characterised cell lines is sometimes impossible within the constraints of individual laboratories due to the laborious processes needed to maintain these cells. 

The Facility offers the maintenance of reprogrammed iPS cell lines under optimal culture conditions in order to maintain their pluripotency and avoid spontaneous differentiation. 

The maintenance of the iPS cell lines in our laboratory facilitates their use in our established differentiation protocols.
