Alice Kinner is the Head of Marketing and Communications at Children’s Medical Research Institute, where she leads strategic communications and marketing initiatives that elevate the institute’s scientific impact, public profile, and fundraising capability. She is passionate about translating complex research into compelling stories that resonate with communities, supporters, and stakeholders.
Before joining CMRI, Alice served on the executive team at Alameda Health System in Oakland, California, as Vice President of Public Affairs and Community Engagement. Alameda Health System is a major health system that includes one of the nation’s leading teaching hospital programs, along with multiple acute, post-acute, and community care facilities. In this role, Alice led teams responsible for marketing, corporate and crisis communications, public and media relations, community engagement, events, and policy and government affairs across a large and diverse health care system. Her work strengthened organisational reputation, advanced community partnerships, and supported mission-driven health care delivery.
Alice holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master’s degree from the University of New South Wales.
