We are proud to have been chosen as the official charity partner of the NSW Government’s Return and Earn scheme from November 2025 to April 2026 giving everyone across NSW an easy way to support Children’s Medical Research Institute and Jeans for Genes through recycling.
From now until April 2026, your 10c refund from eligible cans, glasses and plastic bottles can be donated to Jeans for Genes at any Return and Earn machine or depot across NSW. Simply tap donate on the screen to help find cures for children’s genetic diseases!
So far, more than $82 million has been raised for charities via donations from generous community members. Now you can join them and help turn containers into cures for children with genetic conditions.
We are aiming to raise $200,000 by the end of our six-month partnership, so please consider donating your recycling to help our research. Every 10cents helps bring us closer to that goal.
CMRI is also a donation partner on the Return and Earn App, so even after April you can continue fundraising for us by setting us as your active payout option in the app.
