Look who’s famous! Our ambassadors Amity and Joseph popped into our Retail Alliance partners, Jeanswest and Lowes, to see their own beautiful faces staring back at them from the shopfronts.
The Retail Alliance is new for 2024 and features competing fashion retailers coming together with the aim of raising $1m to support Jeans for Genes.
Jeanswest is the premier partner leading the charge. General Manager, Anne Natale, has pledged to raise $125,000 through sales of product, in store donations and staff fundraising initiatives.
Lowes has also joined the Retail Alliance as another top tier partner, pledging to raise $75,000.
Other top retailers who have pledged to raise significant funds for research through the Alliance are SEED, Commonry and Unison.
Joseph and his family swung by Jeanswest to celebrate their support for our research into cystic fibrosis and other genetic diseases and was greeted with a huge hamper full of Joseph's favourite toys! It was an amazing gesture on top of their already generous support.
Amity visited Lowes Australia with her two little sisters to see her image in their promotion. Lowes has been donating $5 from every pair of jeans sold to Jeans for Genes and this will continue until September 1, so you still have time to find your perfect pair and help our research at the same time. You can also add a donation when you check out online or in store.
The Retail Alliance is also supported by Dave String! Advertising, Kepler Analytics, Ultimate Edge Communications and Shopper Media. They are helping to get the word out in shopping centres and stores around the country, encouraging the public to use their purchasing power to support Jeans for Genes and medical research.
