CMRI was fortunate to join in the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Murray Farm School Cracker Carnival.
It was a firecracker of an event for more reasons than one as our scientists taught the kids some pipetting techniques!
Students also engaged with our future scientist activity books and colouring-in at our popular stall.
“These interactive experiences gave families a glimpse into the exciting world of medical research in a way that was both educational and engaging,” said CMRI’s Trudi Kelso.
“It was heartwarming to see so many young faces light up with curiosity and enthusiasm.”
A huge thank you to our staff who volunteered their weekend to assist – from our labs, Thi Nguyen, Priya Duggal, Seejan Subedi and her friend Bigyan, and from fundraising, Megan Thomas, Tanya Pandit and Andrea Elias. Your energy and dedication made the day a great success.
