Queenie completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Sydney in 2020.

Her Honours project in the Tissue Engineering Research Unit, School of Biomedical Engineering, aimed to develop novel 3D-printed hybrid biomaterials tailored for tough bone replacement grafts.

Throughout her academic journey, Queenie undertook internships focusing on medical image segmentation and diagnosis at the University of Sydney and testing biomechanical devices at Kids Research (SCHN).

Queenie started her PhD in 2021 in the School of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Sydney in collaboration with the Stem Cell Medicine Group at Children's Medical Research Institute. Her research aims to engineer methods to enhance the scalability and reproducibility of retinal organoids for cell replacement therapy. Queenie also actively participates in teaching undergraduate courses and has served as a Student Ambassador for the University of Sydney Nano Institute.

Outside of the lab, Queenie enjoys climbing rocks, hanging out with her cats, and learning as many musical instruments as possible.
