Jason Grealey is a cancer data scientist in Procan at Children’s Medical Research Institute. He obtained an integrated Master’s of Theoretical Physics at The University of Edinburgh. After which, he went on to study for his PhD at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute in the Systems Genomics laboratory (Victoria, Australia).

During his PhD he used deep learning methods in genomic prediction and developed methods to quantify computational carbon footprints. Jason’s research interests involve combining machine learning and statistical methods with omics data to better understand the development, treatment, and prognoses of cancer.
