Dr Mohashin Pathan is working as Data Scientist (proteomics) in ProCan at Children’s Medical Research Institute.
He received a PhD in Bioinformatics from La Trobe University, Australia. He is experienced in analysing mass-spectrometry based proteomics data for protein identification and downstream analysis.
He is the author of a functional enrichment analysis tool named “FunRich” which is used for enrichment analysis of omics data and protein-protein interaction network. He also contributed to Vesiclepedia which is a web-based compendium of RNA, proteins, lipids, and metabolite identified in extracellular vesicles.
His other works include transcriptomic analysis of neuroblastoma and colorectal cancer tissues and cell-lines.
