Jingwei completed his master’s degree from the University of York in Genomics, UK, in 2015.
He expanded his research skills in cancer carcinogenesis and gene dysregulation while taking up a research assistant role at Cancer Research UK.
He graduated from his Ph.D. in Paediatric Oncology from the University of New South Wales, Australia in 2020. He joined Translational Vectorology Unit (TVU) at Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI) in 2021 to study and design gene therapies for a rare neurodevelopmental disorder.
