Jadon completed a Bachelor of Medicinal Chemistry (Hons) at the University of Wollongong in 2018, where he studied a novel class of potential telomerase inhibiting drugs and their ability to prevent telomere extension in cancer cells.

This sparked his interest in telomere biology, leading Jadon to join us in 2020 to further his interests in telomeres as targets for cancer therapeutics. Currently, Jadon is studying proteins with functions in both DNA replication and DNA damage at telomeres, as well as studying the relationship between viral infections and telomere dysfunction.
