Dr Srikanth S. Manda is a Cancer data scientist in Procan® at Children’s Medical Research Institute. He completed his Master’s in biotechnology from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India and thereafter, pursued a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Institute of Bioinformatics, Bangalore, India and Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA.
He has an extensive experience in proteogenomics, cancer genomics, proteomics and data science. He has co-authored more than 30 research articles in journals of international repute in the field of multi-omics, including publications in Nature, Nature Methods, Genome Research, Nature comm., and MCP, among others.
Srikanth has research interests in multi-omics data analysis, integration and interpretation of Big Data from genomics, transcriptomics, epigenomics and proteomics. Currently, he is working with analysis of large-scale proteogenomic datasets from adult and childhood cancers to identify potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets.
